5 , 6 has pixelated fire particles , less detailed ones too , issues with reflections , sporadic texture quality. I think 6 looks great. I can't say if it's better or worse than 5. I only have 8G of VRAM so not using the HD texture pack. in 6 when i get close to rocks they look like 16 bit textures.

Yeah, the New Vegas map size is taken from some kind of 'official' scale number. But realistically when measured based on the size of objects in the game with defined dimensions, the maps are far smaller than their stated sizes. For whatever reason OP has used several different standards for 'measurement' of the Fallout maps.
